Unlike other “ Sweat Boxes “ on the market this Cover comes designed with ventilation flutes built in as standard for the Factory. It allows the heat to escape so as to prevent this heat turning to moisture when the Pump cools from normal running temperatures – thus everything stays dry and in good order from potential corrosion over time.

The Large Pump Cover with Poly Base incorporates easy to remove “cut outs” which can provide varying degrees of ventilation for your pump. Due to its unique design it can be tailor made to suit the conditions and site installation in which the pump is installed by removing the “cut outs” to increase ventilation if needed. This same cut out procedure allows neat and tidy plumbing into and out of the Pump Cover.

Many pumps are installed without a suitable base which means that the pump can become over grown with weeds-/grass etc. and affected by surface flooding and dampness. The Large Evolve pump cover we offer includes a separate unique reinforced based that elevates or lifts the pump above the damp area and provides a safe and secure base which you can also easily drill drain holes within for water to drain should it ever enter the cover for whatever reason.

The EVOLVE Pump Cover can also be screwed shut if needed to stop animals and children from coming into contact with any moving parts and electrical connections. It’s as simple as applying small self-tapping stainless steel screws through the side wall – lower skirt of the Pump Cover and into the Poly Base – quick, easy and beneficial.

The Evolve POLYSLAB Pump Cover design means that the “cut outs” can be removed with a sharp blade/knife or a small hand saw once the pump has been fitted to the base and the pipe work connected.

Our Pump Covers on offer are made to suit pumps fitted with electronic controllers and  with Mains Water Switching Devices in most cases.  They are available from Aquatica Water Pumps and easily delivered across Australia upon individual application to your given City or Outback region.

Why Install an Energy Saving – Pressure Vessel ?

If your pump is controlled by an electronic – automated switching device such as an Auto Press Control Unit atop your Pump, the installing of an Energy Saving Pressure Vessel will not only save you considerable money on electricity costs ( as a Pumps main power draw & surge of power is when it Starts ), but the Vessel will also promote the longevity – Life Span of your Pump.

Pressure Vessel pumps Australia

This is achievable because the Pressure Tank- Pressure Vessel stores energy as water under pressure, and will reduce the pump start-up events by at least 50% – 60%, thus saving massive amounts of electricity. Further if your pump usually runs only 50% of the time, it will last much longer !…simple really.

To give an example a 100 litre Pressure Vessel at standard pressure will grant 36-37 Litres of water to toilets, Laundry etc. before the Pump so much as even starts.

If you think a toilet needs circa 9 Litres to flush you could use the toilet 4 times before the Pump needs to start – whereas with NO Pressure Tank – EnergySaver device – EnergySaver Tank in the delivery system  the Pump needs to start every single time you so much as touch a tap or flush a toilet – fill the kettle – wash your hands etc. if the whole of House runs off Harvested Rain Water & Tanks.

Any way you look at it; a Pressure Tank – Pressure Vessel – EnergySaver Tank is a true investment and huge cost saver for any sized home.

Should I check the air in the Energy Saver?

The ENERGYSAVER device – Energy Saver Pressure Vessel  has / should have  a pre-charge of air, which is essential for it to work properly.

This should be set at a pressure slightly lower than the start pressure of the pump (around 10% lower as a rule ).

To set this working range pressure, the Energy Saver Pressure Tank should be completely depleted and drained of water. This is achieved by turning the main power off to the pump at its plug in mains switch and stop – turn off (via a ball Valve or Gate Valve) the water supply from the Rainwater Tank. The next step is to simply open a garden or internal tap fed by this Pump system and let all the water run out of the delivery line.

Once you achieve total draining of the system, any pressure left in the EnergySaver Tank – Pressure Vessel will be the “ Pre-Charge “ as it is known in the Industry.  To check this Pre Charge Pressure you can simply check it by using a regular tyre pressure gauge found at an Auto Parts Store. Traditionally, with any ENERGYSAVER Pressure Vessel, once the Pre-Charge is set, it normally does not require checking again – in saying that it’s best to take a look every year or so to be sure all is in good running & working order.
